let's hide inside our heads for awhile.....

I love tents, and forts, and hand made caves to hide and play in. There is just something so adventurous about building your own space and getting lost inside with nothing but your imagination. It's sort of like a womb....only drier.....It is my plan for my next 2 days off to build a spectacular fort in my bedroom...I already have little paper lanterns to hang inside. I'm pretty stoked....you should be too. :)

All you need is love......

People underestimate the power of a hug. You never really know if those around you realize how much they really mean to you, and you could wake up one day to find that they aren't there anymore. Life is unexpected, short and not to be wasted. As we get older some of have a shift in priorities, a change in what makes us smile and we have a deeper appreciation for those we choose to share these moments with. I make sure I tell every person I love, just how much I love them. I'm not afraid of the word. And I hug EVERYONE; people i meet for the first time, family members and each and every friend as I greet them, and leave them. Some don't realize the power a hug holds. It's one soul touching another, giving it a warm fuzzy squeeze. And a hug can say so many different things;

this little house of mine...

SO, I had this awesome thrifting blog planned, with pictures of some of the amazing things I've picked up recently and my photos just mysteriously dissappeared!!!!! I don't know if i deleted them on accident, or saved them in some phantom file that is buried someplace random on my computer. Either way, it definitely put a kink in that blog plan. And I was tempted to just re-take the pictures and throw something together but the pictures I had taken were PERFECT and I just couldn't bring myself to half-ass it. Instead here is an interior design inspiration post. I have had a suzy homemaker itch to completely re-vamp my living space. It is so blank and blah and really doesn't show me in any way, shape or form. Give me 6 months and I will have put all of my design ideas to work. For now, these are some spaces and ideas that make me drool.........enjoy.
